The core of the game is about running and cycling.

Both running and cycling have their specificities in terms of pace, maximum speed and so on.

In order to properly handle tracking activities, Squadland uses the tracking technology from its big brother, Squadeasy.

This technology has a multi-layered analysis system which can be summarized in 3 parts:

Mobile layer

The mobile layer has several features that help for a smooth user experience: offline recording, first efficient anti-cheat system, smooth stats display, activity streaming and ability to track multiple vehicles along a single travel.

Backend tech layer

The backend tech layer is a high-speed service that allows to record hundreds of thousands of simultaneous travels per second and filter those who have aberrant values.

Backend product layer

The backend product layer is where the magic of tracking rules occurs, as a final validation of the user's activity and transfer of that information to the Game-fi part.
